There’s always the fear of buying fake goods but for a bag fanatic like me the fear is on purchasing fake coach merchandise. Luckily enough I’ve had first hand experience dealing with counterfeit goods. I know some simple steps to keep that money in your probably cute purse.

If the price of the product is too good to be true it is!

Use your intuition – feel the product out you know how a real one feels!

Goods location – where are you getting the product does the store / seller seems trustworthy can anybody vouch for them

When buying online especially in sites I promote on this blog, for instance eBay rest assured that the seller has to tell the truth whether it is fake or not

So follow the above simple steps and you’ll be fine purchase a real coach goody and keep styling!

Spring is here and what better way to get the season going than showing of the wonderful collection of wristlets coach has to offer. As much as I love the new styles of 2009 & 2010 I prefer the original penelope signature wristlet

The signature coach wristlet is just another necessity in a womans’ world, this small accessory matches most of my outfits and if I’m on the go I don’t want to lug my larger sized bags top shelf down. I’m sure many women prefer the big bag, but I like my Sunny Spring Sunday picnics light. The price of these things are very affordable at about $50 – 150 USD much cheaper than a bag can’t go wrong owning at least one. I own a couple of colors and styles of course I didn’t buy them at full price hence the reason for this blog. I’m here to get you discounted coach items, never the less if your shopping around for a coach wristlet view the ones below.

A little bit of a history lesson for all you Coach Fanatics.

Coach was founded in New York City around the mid 1940′s. They were one of the first American Luxury Leather companies in business with a production line that consisted of but not limited to ladies’ and men’s handbags, as well as items such as luggage, briefcases, wallets and other accessories belts, shoes, scarves, umbrellas, sunglasses and key chains.

They started as a family run leather company of six leatherworkers till a couple who owned a leather bag business joined the team. Lillian and Miles Cahn were the leather workers who eventually took over Coach in the 1950′s all business aspects and product designs were solely based on their decisions.

The company flourished through the years and remained a relatively small company until the 1960′s when the Cahns hired Bonnie Cashin a New York City designer who was well known and respected. Bonnie blew the Coach brand up and revenue sales were up from the 1970′s to 80′s. By 1986 Coach was sold to the Sara Lee Corp for $30 million dollars seizing all of its’ assets and taking over the entire company. Sara Lee Corp has taken Coach to new levels of success with “boutiques” opening in Denver, San Francisco area.

Around 1985 Sara Lee hired Lew Frankfort as president of the Coach, he took this opportunity to transform Coach into a world wide brand we know today. The gap between very expensive and very expensive knock offs during that time was slim, but luckily Lew had managed to fill the gap with Coach a luxury affordable brand of leather goods.
